You heard this wedding before you saw it.
At about twenty minutes to six on June 20, 2026, a bagpiper began to play as guests found their seats on the lawn at Zorvino Vineyards, and the sound carried out over the vines the way only bagpipes can — equal parts celebration and lump-in-the-throat. By the time Brianna Sullivan reached the gazebo to marry Christopher Kiernan, the whole afternoon had that feeling of something a little bigger than an ordinary Saturday.
It stayed personal all the way through. The man waiting to marry them was family — Christopher’s brother-in-law, Will — and the ring bearer padding up the aisle was Will’s own one-year-old son, Charlie. This was a wedding held together, at every turn, by the people in it.
First Look in the Vineyard
Before the ceremony, Brianna shared a first look with her father, and then she and Christopher stole a few minutes together out in the rows. R Pro Photography caught the two of them there among the vines, and then again wrapped up together under the veil as it lifted in the breeze.
There’s a quieter frame from the greenhouse, too — foreheads together, eyes closed, ivy trailing down the glass behind them. The kind of picture you don’t pose for.
The Ceremony: A Piper, a Brother-in-Law, and a Very Small Ring Bearer
The piper, Patrick of Boston Bagpipes — played from a quarter to six until the ceremony began, and then Brianna came down the aisle to the gazebo, dressed for the season with florals climbing the posts.
Will, Christopher’s brother-in-law, officiated. Being married by someone who is already family changes the temperature of a ceremony; it feels less like a service and more like a conversation the whole room is let in on. And a step ahead of him, in the smallest role and somehow the biggest, was one-year-old Charlie, doing a wonderful job as ring bearer.
Cocktail Hour & the Classico Package
As the ceremony ended, guests came off the lawn to a welcome drink — a blueberry vodka lemonade — and out onto Zorvino’s patio, the red umbrellas up and the red barn glowing across the lawn. Zorvino’s outdoor cocktail hour runs May through October, and a clear June evening is exactly what it’s for.
Brianna and Christopher built their day on our Classico Wedding Package, which is proof that the entry tier is anything but bare. It brings a full grazing spread of Italian cured meats, imported and domestic cheeses, spinach dip, crudités with Boursin, seasonal fruit, marinated mushrooms, and olives; three passed hors d’oeuvres — honey-ricotta crostini, arancini, and scallops in bacon; a champagne toast; a salad; a full plated dinner; and a custom cake. Where Classico leaves room is in the choosing, and this couple used it: they upgraded to an open bar for the full reception and gave it a personality all their own with two signature drinks — an Aperol spritz and a Hendrick’s with tonic and lime — plus a cranberry mule mocktail. Little wonder there was an orange slice waiting on every napkin.
The Details
The look was uncluttered and warm. Sheer drapery framing the dance floor, low florals by La Flora Couture down tables set for a big, happy crowd of a hundred and eighty-one. A hand-painted seating chart pointed everyone to their spots, and the guest book was a collection of wine bottles for the couple to open on anniversaries down the road. At the end of the night, guests were invited to take the centerpieces home. A small, generous note to close on.
Dinner
Dinner opened with a mixed greens salad, then moved to the entrées: filet mignon with herb butter — the choice of the bride and groom both — or stuffed chicken with herb stuffing, white wine, and parsley oil, with a grilled Mediterranean vegetable plate for the vegan guests. Everything came with homemade focaccia, seasonal vegetables, and chef’s starch, and the kitchen carried a long list of allergies through the night by name and table.
The Cake: Chickadee Hill Cakes
Chickadee Hill Cakes made the wedding cake, displayed on a barrel with a coffee and tea buffet alongside. Brianna and Christopher kept the cake cutting private — just the two of them — before rejoining the room for parent dances and a group photo.
Late Night & the Dance Floor
Nick Mascioli of Get Down Tonight Entertainment ran the reception, and once the parent dances were done the floor filled and stayed that way. Late in the evening, a burger station rolled out — mini cheeseburgers and hamburgers with special sauce and garlic fries, the toppings laid out to build your own — the perfect thing to hand a room that had been dancing for hours.
