Introduction
There is a particular kind of magic that happens when two traditions meet in one room and neither one has to shrink to make space for the other.
Kelly Kallini and Jake Pineo’s vineyard pavilion wedding at Zorvino Vineyards on June 13, 2026 was exactly that. A ceremony beneath the pavilion, deep in the vineyard rows, with orchids hanging from the beams and a violinist playing them in. A saxophone drifting across the patio at cocktail hour. Sage green runners, blush peonies, and gold chargers glowing under candlelight. And then, right in the middle of the reception, a belly dancer arrived to bless the marriage in the Egyptian tradition — and the whole room came alive.
For 116 guests in Sandown, New Hampshire, it was a night that belonged entirely to Kelly and Jake.
The Setting: Zorvino in Full June Bloom
June at Zorvino Vineyards is the property at its most generous. The 80 acres run deep green, the vineyard rows stretch toward a long summer horizon, and the outdoor patio opens onto the kind of evening that makes guests linger far past when they meant to leave.
Kelly and Jake used every corner of it — the venue, wedding suite, gazebo, and outdoor patio. But their most striking choice was the ceremony itself. Rather than the gazebo, they chose Zorvino’s pavilion, set directly within the vineyard, with the vines running out behind them and the New Hampshire treeline beyond that.

The First Look: Before the Ceremony, Before the Crowd
Kelly shared a First Look with her father — a private moment between the two of them before anyone else saw her. A few moments later, she and Jake had their own, alone on the Zorvino grounds, captured by Silvia Gilbert Photography.
Their portraits took full advantage of the property: the vineyard rows in full leaf, the pond glinting at the edge of the treeline, and Zorvino’s vintage General Motors truck parked among the vines. Kelly in a strapless satin gown with a cathedral veil, Jake in soft tan — and between them a bouquet of white orchids, blush ranunculus, and calla lilies that carried the whole palette of the day.
Fun Fact: First look moments like this allow for couples and bridal parties to participate more in the celebration later on, as they get to share these private moments for capturing memories prior to the guests arrival.

The Ceremony: Orchids, a Violinist & the Vineyard Pavilion
Beneath the pavilion—swagged in white drapery, hung with cascading orchids by Britton Design, and framed on both sides by the vineyard — Kelly and Jake exchanged their vows. Officiant Daniel Griffiths led the ceremony, and violinist Annie Andrade played them down the aisle.
Orchids were Kelly’s flower, and Britton Design carried them everywhere: hanging from the pavilion beams, tucked into every bouquet and boutonnière, spilling across the sweetheart table, and woven into a greenery ceiling that stretched over the reception hall.

Cocktail Hour: A Saxophone on the Patio
Guests moved from the vineyard to the outdoor patio, where the wine barrels and burgundy umbrellas were waiting—and so was something unexpected. DJ Patrick Matthews of Get Down Tonight Entertainment played live saxophone through the entire cocktail hour, turning an already golden June evening into something closer to a scene.
Two signature drinks were poured, both named with a wink:
“Silly on the Vines” — a Blackberry Pinot Spritz with muddled blackberries, lemon, and soda water, served over ice with rosemary
“The Pineo Pour” — a Strawberry Margarita with Tequila Blanco, strawberry purée, fresh lime, and a sugar rim
Out on the lawn there was cornhole and bocce, and — because this is Zorvino — food to feed the alpacas.

The Details: Sage, Blush & a Greenery Ceiling
Britton Design built the entire visual world of this wedding, and it was one of the most beautifully realized rooms Zorvino has hosted.
A greenery ceiling of eucalyptus and baby’s breath hung from the timber beams and wound along the balcony rail, lit by strings of warm bulbs. A dramatic floral arch of baby’s breath and eucalyptus framed the sweetheart table, which was piled with blush peonies, ranunculus, orchids, and calla lilies. Wine barrels stood at the entrance, dressed in greenery.
The tables carried it through: sage green runners over ivory linens, gold charger plates, floating candles, and low centerpieces of pink peonies, green hydrangea, and bells of Ireland. Ivory bows tied every chair. And at each place setting, a gold foil coaster reading “Please Don’t Take My Drink, I’m Dancing” — which, as the night went on, proved to be excellent advice.

The Feast: A Grand Crû Menu
Kelly and Jake chose Zorvino’s Grand Crû Wedding Package, and it showed from the first bite.
Cocktail hour opened with two stationary displays — the Formaggi e Frutta, with baked brie en croûte, gourmet crackers, crudités and fresh fruit, and the Tuscan Display, with charcuterie, imported cheeses, spinach and artichoke dip, and fresh breads with dipping oils — alongside five passed hors d’oeuvres, including crostini with ricotta and honey, beef kofta with Boursin and dill, and scallop in bacon with maple and lemon.
Dinner opened with a grilled romaine salad with lemon-buttermilk dressing and herbed croutons. Guests then chose between Zorvino Chicken — breaded cutlet with mustard butter, tarragon, and lemon (Jake’s choice) — Filet Mignon with herb butter (Kelly’s choice), or Portabella Mushroom Ravioli with marsala cream sauce for vegetarians.
Espresso Dave arrived with the specialty cart for two hours of lattes and cappuccinos, carrying the room through the back half of the night.
And at 10 PM, Kelly and Jake did something no other Zorvino couple has done: they served two late-night stations at once.
A Crème Brûlée Bar — vanilla and Baileys, torched to order, with whipped cream and fresh berries.
And an Ice Cream Sundae Bar from Dylan & Pete’s, with every topping you could want.
Nobody left hungry. Nobody left early.
The Egyptian Blessing
The most unforgettable fifteen minutes of the night came somewhere between the cake cutting and the dance floor.
Honoring Kelly’s Egyptian heritage, a belly dancer — Elizabeth Nelson — entered the reception hall to bless the marriage. In Egyptian tradition, the dancer brings blessings and good fortune to the newlyweds, and the celebration that follows is meant to be loud, joyful, and shared by everyone in the room.
It was. Three instrumental pieces, then the dance floor opened and the entire room joined in. Kelly’s introduction song had been Egyptian, too — a quiet signal at the start of the evening of what was still to come.
This is what a wedding at its best does. It makes room for where you come from and celebrates it in front of everyone you love.
The Cake: Chickadee Hill Cakes
@chickadeehillcakes created a three-tier ivory buttercream cake in a classic Lambeth style — piped swags, scrollwork, and pearl detailing, hand-worked over every inch. It stood on a wine barrel ringed with Zorvino corks, glowing under candlelight, with the baby’s breath arch rising behind it.
Served with a coffee and tea buffet, it was elegant, timeless, and quietly show-stopping.
The Music: Get Down Tonight Entertainment
@getdowntonightentertainment ran the full evening — DJ Patrick Matthews on the decks and on saxophone, with Emma running the Magic Mirror photo booth.
From introductions and the first dance through four toasts and speeches, parent dances, the Egyptian dance, and a group photo on the dance floor, Patrick kept every transition seamless. The bar closed at 11 PM. The event ended at 11:30 PM. The dance floor did not thin out once.
