There was a lottery ticket waiting at every one of the 194 place settings, tucked beside a little card: We tied the knot — now we hope you hit the jackpot.
It’s a small thing, and it tells you almost everything about Amy Clark and Jon Rolfe. This was a couple who spent their whole wedding wishing luck onto everyone around them — while quietly holding the one sure thing in the room. On August 29, 2026, they gathered nearly two hundred people at Zorvino Vineyards in Sandown, New Hampshire for a celebration that was big in every way that counts and personal in every way that matters. Amy’s own brother married them. Their cats made the cocktail napkins. And a soft wash of garden pastels tied it all together, from the first bouquet to the last dance. Call it a dusty blue vineyard wedding if you need a label — though that hardly does justice to the day.
Some couples throw a party. Amy and Jon threw the odds in everyone’s favor.
A Whole Estate, Just for the Day
You don’t so much book Zorvino as borrow all 80 acres of it.
That’s the quiet luxury of a wedding here, and it’s what nearly two hundred guests felt the moment they arrived: not a single room to file into, but a whole late-summer estate to move through — a private bridal suite, the groom’s lounge, the gazebo perched above the vines, the patio for cocktails, and the timber-frame barn waiting for nightfall. Family-owned since 2004, the grounds carry small pleasures a ballroom simply can’t fake: rows heavy with ripening fruit, gardens still in full bloom in late August, fountains catching the low gold light, and the vintage estate truck that has photobombed more love stories than we can count.
Amy and Jon used all of it.
The Slow, Sweet Morning
Before the crowd, there was calm.
Amy’s morning began in the bridal suite with a mimosa bar and a generous spread of wraps and flatbreads, the room filling slowly with the people she’d chosen to stand beside her. Jon and his groomsmen claimed their own lounge, a beer bucket of Corona and Founders on ice, and the kind of easy, unhurried lunch that only happens when nobody’s watching the clock. It’s the gift a full-estate venue gives a couple: hours to simply be before the day belongs to everyone else.
Two First Looks
Amy had two moments she wanted before the aisle.
The first was with her father: a private moment, just the two of them, before the whole day tipped forward. The second was with Jon, a chance to breathe and find each other’s eyes with no audience but the fountain and the fading afternoon. Photographs from those minutes are the ones a couple tends to return to years later — the quiet before the joy, when the nerves finally give way to this is really happening.
Married by Her Brother
At six o’clock, beneath a gazebo framed in peach roses and blue delphinium, Amy and Jon were married — by Amy’s brother, Austin.
There’s a particular weight to vows delivered by family, and Austin carried it beautifully, speaking to the couple with the ease of someone who has known the bride her entire life. Amy came down the brick aisle on her father’s arm, past seven bridesmaids and seven groomsmen and a remembrance chair set gently among the seats, so that the people held in memory had a place there too. A hand-lettered sign asked guests to put their phones away and simply witness it. They did — and the kiss that followed needed no filter.
Golden Hour on the Patio
Cocktail hour at Zorvino happens outdoors, right at the edge of the vines — an experience we can only offer May through October, and one of the truest arguments for a summer wedding here.
As the ceremony broke, guests drifted onto the patio with the vineyard at their backs and the evening going gold around them. It’s the hour when a wedding loosens its collar: the laughter gets easier, the photos get better, and the whole estate seems to exhale.
One Very Good Slushy
The signature pour was a Red & White Slushy — frozen, festive, tinted in the colors of the winery itself, and exactly right for a warm August night.
The detail that made everyone grin, though, was smaller: cocktail napkins printed with Tikka and Chip, the couple’s cats. Because Amy and Jon’s guest list was human, but their family, clearly, is not. It’s the sort of wink that turns a drink into a keepsake — and a keepsake into a story guests were still telling by the dance floor.
The Details That Gave Them Away
If you want to know a couple, skip the flowers and read the table.
Amy’s palette was sun-washed and soft — dusty blue, peach, blush, and butter yellow, laced with green — and @fordflower carried it everywhere, from the bouquets to the gazebo swags that were quietly reborn as reception décor. Inside the barn, blue runners crossed silver chargers, pastel centerpieces glowed under the uplights, and sheer drapery softened the edge of the dance floor.
But the fingerprints were in the extras. The lottery tickets, of course. A cookie station under a love is sweet sign. A memory table for the loved ones who couldn’t be there. An audio telephone guest book — a gift from the bride’s aunt — waiting to catch voices all night. Glow sticks and flip-flops stashed for later. None of it was for show. All of it was for them.
Dinner, the Classico Way
Amy and Jon built their menu on Zorvino’s Classico Wedding Package, and it more than earned its keep.
The Tuscan Display anchored cocktail hour — imported and domestic cheeses, charcuterie, seasonal fruit, olives, spinach and artichoke dip, and warm breads with dipping oils — while three passed bites made the rounds: crostini with ricotta and honey, a classic marinara meatball, and maple scallop wrapped in bacon. A champagne toast opened dinner, followed by a tossed garden salad in Zinfandel vinaigrette and a plated choice of stuffed chicken (Jon’s pick), panko-crusted baked haddock in lemon butter (Amy’s), or butternut squash ravioli for the vegetarians. The youngest guests, naturally, got the real prize: chicken fingers and fries.
Four Tiers and a Few Birthday Candles
@chickadeehillcakes delivered a four-tier stunner — textured ivory buttercream spilling over with peach garden roses, blush and blue blooms, and bright pops of golden craspedia, lit from below on a cork-lined display.
It came with a coffee and tea buffet and both regular and gluten-free cupcakes, and it pulled double duty, too: a handful of guests were celebrating birthdays that night, and a candle or two found its way into the mix. A wedding, a jackpot, and a birthday party — the odds of a good night were looking very strong.
The Floor Never Emptied
Victoria Johnston of Get Down Tonight Entertainment had the room’s number all night.
The bridal party made their entrance with props in hand, the first dance drew the room in close, and three toasts — from Amy’s parents, Best Man Hayden, and Maid of Honor Mackenzie — struck the balance between funny and true. Then came the combined parent dances, a whole-room group photo, and a dance floor that, once it filled, never really cleared. When the glow sticks came out, the barn stopped being a venue and started being a party.
The Day on Film
From the first look to the final song, the day was captured in full. Every backdrop earned its place: the vineyard in deep summer green, the gazebo, the gardens, the fountains, and that generous late-August light pouring across the estate.
