Introduction
Katarina Kozicki and Chris Burgess were married at Zorvino Vineyards on Sunday, June 28, 2026, on one of those clear, bright New Hampshire days in late June that you cannot plan for and never forget.
Theirs was a big wedding in the best sense — a hundred and thirty-two guests, three generations of grandparents in the front rows, and a coach bus and a trolley bringing everyone in from Salem. But the details that stayed with us were the small, particular ones: the groom’s sister officiating, a signature sangria called The Mochi, and a bouquet toss that turned into something quite a bit sweeter.
The First Look
Before guests arrived, Katarina and Chris met for their first look, and Boston Photo Company took the two of them out across the property — into the vineyard rows in full June leaf, along the stone walls and garden beds, and out onto the lawn in front of the timber-frame entry.
Katarina’s veil had a soft pink flower tucked at the crown, matching Chris’s blush tie and her bouquet of blush peonies, garden roses, ranunculus, and eucalyptus. Bryanna Toohey was on-site as content creator, capturing the day in a second register alongside the photographs.

The Ceremony at the Gazebo
The ceremony took place at the gazebo, with guests seated on the lawn under a blue sky and the vineyard rolling away behind them. Britton Design ran a garland up the gazebo and carried it through to the sweetheart table inside, tying the two spaces together.
Chris’s sister, Ali officiated. There is something particular about being married by someone who has known one of you your whole life, and it came through.
The wedding party was fifteen strong — seven bridesmaids and a bridesman, six groomsmen, two maids of honor in Mandolina and Amanda, and two best men in Shubh and Harry — with three-year-old Sylvie as flower girl. The groomsmen wore navy. The bridesmaids wore blush.

Cocktail Hour: The Mochi
Zorvino’s outdoor cocktail space runs May through October, and a late-June evening on the patio beside the vines is close to the best case for it.
Katarina and Chris’s signature drink was a white and red sangria they named The Mochi. Alongside it came two stationary displays — the Formaggi e Frutta with crudités, fruit, cheese, and crackers, and the Tuscan Display with imported and domestic cheeses, charcuterie, olives, spinach and artichoke dip, and fresh breads with dipping oils.
Four passed hors d’oeuvres circulated: mozzarella skewers with tomato, basil, and olive oil; coconut chicken with chili lime chutney; beef skewers with soy, lime honey, and sesame; and scallops in bacon with maple, black pepper, and lemon. All four gluten free — a small piece of planning that meant the bride could eat anything that came past her.
The Details: Pink, Gold & Timber
The palette was pink and gold, which sounds simple until you see it in Zorvino’s timber-frame hall in late-day light. Blush overlays and runners ran across ivory linens, gold caught the sun coming through the windows, and Britton Design’s centerpieces — blush roses, garden greenery, soft peach and cream blooms — sat low enough that guests could see each other across the table.
A memory table stood off to the side, and the couple’s monogram and welcome sign greeted guests on the way in.

Dinner
Katarina and Chris chose Zorvino’s Reserva Wedding Package. Dinner opened with the Zorvino Salad — candied pecans, apples, goat cheese, raisins, and apple cider vinaigrette — followed by Harvest Chicken with herb stuffing, white wine, and parsley oil, or slow-roasted prime rib with au jus. Butternut squash ravioli went to the vegetarian guests, a stuffed pepper to the vegan table, and macaroni and cheese to the youngest three.
Later in the evening, a flatbread pizza station came out: BBQ chicken, meat lovers, margherita, and vegetarian, with gluten free options alongside.
The Cake: Chickadee Hill Cakes
Chickadee Hill Cakes made a single-tier white cake in the old style, piped all over with swags, ruffles, and pearl detail. It sat on a wooden stand atop a wine barrel ringed with corks and candlelight — and beside it, a pair of small ceramic geese, one in a top hat and one in a veil.
A coffee and tea buffet and a dessert table were served alongside the cake.

The Reception: Music, Dances & a Cat Plushie
Tyler from Main Event ran the music, and NE Photo Booth set up with Taylor and a table of props that stayed busy all night.
Introductions and the first dance came first, then five speeches — Harry, Mandolina, Shubh, Amanda, and the parents of the groom. Cake cutting and parent dances followed, then a group photo on the dance floor, and then the floor simply stayed full.
And instead of a traditional bouquet toss, Katarina tossed a cat plushie in support of adoption. It is a small thing. It is also the kind of small thing people talk about on the ride home.
