There are summer weddings, and then there are summer weddings that seem to bloom straight out of the season itself. Lilly Cleary and Steven Camerlengo’s belonged firmly to the second kind.
On August 15, 2026, the couple gathered 147 of the people they love at Zorvino Vineyards in Sandown, New Hampshire, for a summer garden vineyard wedding that chose abundance at every turn: a bridal party twenty-two strong, a bar built around three signature cocktails, and, suspended over the dance floor, a canopy of greenery and blooms that stopped guests mid-sentence. It was lavish without ever losing its warmth — a genuinely difficult balance to strike, and one Lilly and Steven held all night long.
The Setting: Zorvino at the Height of Summer
August is Zorvino at its most generous. The vineyard’s eighty acres run deep green and heavy with fruit, the gardens are in full color, and the light in the last hours of the day turns gold and forgiving. Lilly and Steven took the full estate — the wedding suite, the gazebo, the patio, and the timber-framed reception hall — and moved through it the way the best celebrations do, following the sun from an outdoor ceremony to a patio cocktail hour and, finally, indoors as the evening settled in.
The Ceremony at the Gazebo
Their vows took place at the outdoor gazebo, wrapped in grapevine and flowers, with the soft accompaniment of a live violin — a detail that lent the whole moment an almost cinematic hush. Father Matthew officiated.
And in a wedding full of grand gestures, the couple made one quiet, traditional choice. Rather than a staged first look, they waited to see each other at the top of the aisle, in front of everyone they love. Some moments, they decided, are better shared.
The Wedding Party
If the ceremony was the hush, the wedding party was the exhale. Twelve bridesmaids in sage-green satin and ten groomsmen in black gathered around the couple for portraits that were less posed than they were pure momentum — arms up, heads back, bouquets of dusty blue and blush catching the late-afternoon light. A group this size could feel like a logistics exercise. This one felt like a reunion.
Cocktail Hour on the Patio
Cocktail hour unfolded on the patio, an experience Zorvino can offer only from May through October and one the couple used to full effect. Guests drifted between the gardens and the umbrella-shaded tables, the red barn glowing behind them, while a trio of signature drinks made the rounds: a Hugo spritz bright with elderflower and mint, a spicy skinny margarita with a tajín rim, and a Shirley Temple named for one of the day’s littlest guests. The father of the bride, for the record, kept it simple with a Diet Coke — and the bar happily obliged. Between sips came generous stationary spreads and passed bites, the coconut chicken with pineapple chutney chief among the favorites.
The Reception: Under a Canopy of Blooms
Inside, the timber-framed hall had been transformed. Ford Flowers carried the garden indoors and then, quite literally, overhead: the arrangements from the gazebo were repurposed and joined by a suspended canopy of ferns, eucalyptus, roses, and dahlias that hung above the dance floor like something out of a daydream. Beneath it, café lights crisscrossed the beams and sheer drapery framed the floor. It was the kind of centerpiece guests photograph from every angle — and they did, all night.
The Tablescape
The tables carried the same lush-but-grounded palette: dusty blue, blush, and white blooms set against hunter-green runners, silver chargers, and wooden table numbers resting on slabs of wood. In lieu of a traditional favor, each place setting held a packet of wildflower seeds printed with two words that summed up the entire evening — let love grow. Nearby, a memory table held space for the loved ones who couldn’t be there in person.
The Feast
Dinner, drawn from Zorvino’s Reserva menu, leaned into comfort done exceptionally well: a Caesar to start, then a choice of Zorvino chicken in mustard butter and tarragon, slow-roasted prime rib beneath its own au jus, or a butternut squash ravioli with brown butter and a cranberry-walnut gremolata. In a small his-and-hers flourish, the bride chose the chicken and the groom the prime rib — each, naturally, with a few raviolis on the side. Later in the night, once the dancing had earned it, a late-night slider and garlic-fry station made a well-timed encore.
The Cake
The cake, from Chickadee Hill Cakes, kept things timeless: three tiers of textured buttercream trimmed with blush garden roses and a delicate line of eucalyptus, crowned with the couple’s initials. It was served alongside a full coffee and tea buffet.
The Dance Floor
Then the room let loose. The bridal party twirled napkins overhead as the newlyweds were introduced, a glowing “Forever Starts Now” sign led the charge onto the floor, and Get Down Tonight Entertainment kept it full from the first song. Somewhere in the evening, Lilly slipped into a second dress for dancing — the universal sign that the party has officially begun — and the celebration ran long and joyful beneath the flowers.
When it was time to go, buses from Manchester Transit Authority carried guests back to their hotels: the surest evidence of a night everyone got to enjoy right to the end.
Captured Forever
The day was photographed and filmed by Merrisa Caroline Photography, with Merrisa behind the camera and her husband, Nick, on video. Between them, they caught all of it — the vineyard portraits, the canopy, and the last song of the night.
