Some weddings are about two people. This one was about four.
When Elizabeth Erlandson and Jeremy Jarves married at Zorvino Vineyards on August 9, 2026, they weren’t only becoming husband and wife. They were making it official as a family, with their two children right there beside them. That’s the thing we keep coming back to. It’s what gave the whole day its warmth.
It was intimate and it was elegant in the quietest, loveliest way. And from the wildflower garden to the very last slice of late-night pizza, it felt exactly like them.
Zorvino in High Summer
There’s something about Zorvino in August. The vineyard rows are full and green, the gardens are at their absolute peak, and if you catch the evening just right, the light turns everything gold. Elizabeth and Jeremy had all of it.
They kept things close and unhurried, with seventy guests along for the day. Their vows happened outdoors at the gazebo, cocktail hour spilled onto the patio (something we offer May through October, and always worth planning around), and then everyone moved inside to the timber-frame hall for dinner and dancing. A smaller-sized guest list has a way of making a wedding feel like one long, happy dinner party, and theirs sure did!
A Family Vineyard Wedding, First and Foremost
If you want to understand this day, start with the people standing closest to the couple.
Elizabeth and Jeremy’s two children, Isabella and Zachary, were part of it from beginning to end. Not as an afterthought, but as the heart of the whole thing. Add in a small parade of ring bearers and little ones (there were more than a few in the mix), plus three generations of family filling the seats, and you had a celebration that felt less like a formal event and more like a family finally getting to throw the party they’d been waiting for.
Those are our favorite kind.
The Ceremony at the Gazebo
Under our outdoor gazebo, with officiant Sherry Ferrell guiding them, Elizabeth and Jeremy exchanged their vows in front of everyone they love. Five bridesmaids and five groomsmen stood with them, with best man Jason and maid of honor Nellie close by. It was the kind of ceremony where you could feel how long these two had been waiting for it, and how ready they were.
A Quiet Moment in the Garden
Afterward, the couple slipped into the cutting garden for a few photographs, and honestly, this is where the day showed off a little. Their bouquet was a burst of warm, garden-grown color, all deep oranges and golds and dusty pinks, and set against the wildflowers and the vines it looked like it had grown right there. For a wedding built on soft elegance, that pop of color was the perfect bit of personality.
Cocktail Hour on the Patio
As the ceremony wrapped, guests headed out to the patio for cocktail hour, and the drink of the evening was made for a warm August night: a bright, bubbly mix of coconut rum, champagne, pineapple juice, and soda water – YUM! There was a cherry punch on hand too, so the kids and anyone skipping the bar had something festive in their glass as well.
Alongside the drinks came generous spreads of cheese, fruit, and charcuterie, plus warm bites passed around the patio. Cold drinks, good food, and the vineyard stretching out behind everyone: it’s the part of a Zorvino summer that guests always remember.
The Reception: Refined, Elegant, and Just Right
Inside, the couple leaned into a look that was calm and pretty and never fussy. Think soft blue and white: arrangements of blue-and-white hydrangea and ivory roses from Britton Design Flowers, all of it glowing under candlelight. Frosted table numbers and a wine-barrel card box kept the details grounded in the room around them.
The favors were a thoughtful touch we loved. Each guest went home with a personalized candle marked with the couple’s initials and wedding date, a little bit of New England to carry out the door. And against all that soft blue and silver, those warm, colorful bouquets stood out even more.
The Feast, and the Late-Night Surprise
Elizabeth and Jeremy chose our Reserva Wedding Package, and dinner delivered exactly the kind of comfort the evening called for. After a salad course, guests picked between chicken piccata in a lemon-caper sauce, a beautifully done haddock, or a butternut squash ravioli, all served with mashed potatoes and asparagus. There were chicken fingers and fries for the little crowd, too, because a good wedding feeds everyone at the table. And here’s a small detail that made us smile: when it came to their own plates, the bride went for the haddock and the groom went for the chicken. His and hers, right down to dinner.
Then, later in the night, once the dancing had everyone hungry again, the kitchen sent out the encore. Two late-night stations: a spread of warm soft pretzels with dipping sauces, and a flatbread pizza bar with BBQ chicken, meat lovers, margherita, and veggie. If you have never watched a room full of guests light up over midnight pizza, we highly recommend it.
The Cake
The cake came from Chickadee Hill Cakes, and it fit the day perfectly: three tiers of smooth ivory finished with a soft blue ribbon, ivory roses, and blue-and-white hydrangea. It sat on a gently glowing stand ringed with wine corks, a fitting little wink at the winery around it, and it was served alongside a full coffee and tea buffet.
The Dance Floor
With dinner behind them, Main Event Entertainment kept the room moving. Parent dances and a group photo gave way to a dance floor that stayed happily busy right through to the end of the night.
When it was time to call it, a charter bus from First Student carried everyone back to the hotel, because the best nights end with every guest getting home safe and sound.
Captured Forever
The whole day was photographed by Rebecca Garone Photography, who followed the story from the garden portraits through the last dance and gave Elizabeth and Jeremy a gallery they’ll be flipping through for years.
